Yes, back to livestreams! This week, welcome @kennethrohde.bsky.social from Intel, and a friend of mine to tell us a bit about WebMCP and all the other amazing things that agents will be able to do inside your Angular applications 😉 Join us at 4:30 PM UTC this Wednesday!

We had a FANTASTIC stream with Rainer Hahnekamp and Murat Sari! We discussed - agentic UI - the AG-UI protocol - running agents that freely create their UI's in a sandbox - how it all connects with Angular Huge thanks to them, and here is where you can catch up: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scw5...

So I thought, why not go back to the very fundamentals, which I am sure many people skipped or found too intimidating, and try to talk together about machine learning?

Armen Vardanyan @armenvardanyan.dev · 17/08/2026
At the end of my previous livestream, I promised I would talk more about AI. But I do not want to talk immediately about agents and RAG or whatnot, and I am sure everyone is tired of talking about agentic coding

If you are building anything serious on top of LLMs, you must admit that "prompt engineering" is actually alive and well; it just now means a slightly different thing
A laptop sits open on a wooden desk in a dimly lit office setting, with a coffee mug, notebook, and pen nearby. The laptop screen displays a flowchart diagram on a bright white background. The flowchart outlines a technical workflow with connected boxes labeled User Intent, Context Retrieval, Prompt Template, and LLM API, illustrating how data flows from user input to a language model.

I've been trying MiniMax M3 since this morning, and my initial impression is very good! Super capable model and can really work well as a "thinking companion" on heavy work rather than just a plain executor.

I've been building agents for graph retrieval and agentic search for quite a while now. Deepseek V4 Flash (yes, flash!), especially for its price and size, is a BEAST of a model! Can't praise it enough, the team absolutely cooked 🚀

Above the chip, a constellation-like network diagram forms the shape of a human brain.

DeepSeek v4 Flash is so fast and very good, that at its incredibly low price seems almost unfair to larger models 😅
A professional desktop workspace featuring a large monitor displaying the OpenCode interface. The screen shows a "DeepSeek Generation" window containing a Python-style code snippet and mentions "DeepSeek V4 Flash". Overlaid on the screen is a clean UI element with five colored circular dots (red, yellow, green, blue, white). On the wooden desk in front of the monitor, there is a mechanical keyboard, a small secondary keypad, and a tiny square status display labeled "Zen". The environment is dimly lit with a sleek, modern aesthetic.

I'm honestly curious what you mean by "internal tooling". OpenCode has a great set of tools for the agents itself, why would claude code be better? Funnily enough, Opus on some benchmarks has performed better in Cursor for instance. Am I missing something?

Armen Vardanyan @armenvardanyan.dev · 05/05/2026
Let's talk Open models. Everyone is using LLM to build apps nowadays. But most are stuck with big models and tools like Codex and Claude Code. I believe there is a third path: open weight models Join tomorrow to see how they work on Angular apps! Watch on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD8T...

In the past few streams, we started discussing Open Source LLMs for building apps and coding. This week, let's just discuss them! Let's walk through OpenCode, how it compares to other tools, how to set up an environment tailored to #Angular, and my favorite models Join me on Wednesday at 4 PM UTC

A man with a dark beard wearing a brown jacket is at the center, looking at the camera and holding an orange book titled "Modern". A purple text banner overlay states "Going beyond the heavy weights: Open Source LLMs to build Angular apps?". The date and time "May 6, 4 PM UTC" are below that. In the top left corner, there is a logo of Angular Space and a badge labeled "TV". Next to it is a "LIVE STREAM" badge above icons for X, YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn. - Use OpenCode - Have Kimi K2.6 write a short plan for whatever you want to implement using the /grill-me skill - Switch to GLM 5.1 and have it criticize and update the plan - Switch back to Kimi K2.6 and implement Thank me later!
A wide, curved computer monitor on a wooden desk displays the interface for opencode, an AI-driven coding tool. The screen shows a search bar with the prompt, Ask anything... "Fix a TODO in the codebase", and indicates a build using Qwen3-Coder 38B. Below the search bar, a tip suggests creating an opencode.json file for project-specific settings. The desk setup includes a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting and a small lamp in a dimly lit room with city lights visible through a window in the background.
