Hi-Fi Rush art from last semester I realized I never posted. The class was *extremely* restrictive so I think I lost a lot of charm from the thumbnail trying to make the pose "more realistic," but I like how the materials came out. #hifirush #chai #808hifirush #mimosa

Been drawing for a while, but I keep forgetting to post. I've made myself a new HFR OC! Meet Ykikhdj (yes, that's his stage name) or Why - Chai's rival on the musical scene! #HFRWhy #HFROC #HiFiRush #art

This is a drawing of my OC Why. The background is a simple grey color with a touch of yellow and dark circles in the corners.

The character is a young white man wearing a red blazer with a bluish-grey hoodie under it. His hair is brown with shaved sides, with cord-like shapes shaved in, and a white curling bang. His eyes are obscured by his glasses, leaving only a sinister glimmer peeking through. He has silver piercings in his ear, and his hands, covered with white gloves, hold the branded black and gold microphone. The same branded guitar hangs on his shoulder. The big, silver “Y” is pinned on his chest.

Additional text on the image reads:
"Ykjkhdj or "Why"
Real Name: WHO CARES
Voice Claim: CG5
Age: 33

*Property of Yasmin Agency"

Finally posting this because I got mine in the mail, but this i the piece I did for the Hi-Fi Rush Encore fan zine!!!! @hfr-encore.bsky.social It's so surreal being able to hold art that I made in my hands, in a zine :') 🎸 #HiFiRush • #fanart

A scene from the game Hi-Fi Rush

Roquefort is in his giant, mecha werewolf form, taking up most of the frame, reaching out to and towering over Chai, who's in the bottom right with 808 floating nearby.

Really testing out different brushes for rendering recently. Have my two favourite HFR girls together again #HiFiRush #HiFiRushOC #Art

Art of Hi-Fi Rush Roulette and 808 chilling on the floor next to a box full of vinyl records. 808 is stretching and yawning in the foreground while Ru is looking over to her from the background with a vinyl in her hands. Her gaze is full of fondness, a small smile present on her lips.

Rule63/Genderbent Peppermint sketch (design thoughts in alt text) #HiFiRush #Art #Rule63

Sketches of Rule63/Genderbent Peppermint Hi-Fi Rush. The one thing that made me get to this idea is the desire to see Peppiman with a Mohawk. I was unable to make it look like a “hack job” of a haircut (HAHAH) but still - he’s bad with scissors. Peppiman still has jorts, but I was debating wether to keep them rolled or unrolled. Tbh maybe one side with flesh leg can be unrolled while the prosthetic one is rolled up but idunno. Besides that - I gave the dude sock garter instead of a stocking one for a lil more of that punkish flair I guess. And I also gave the guy a cunty eyeliner with some smoky eyeshadow instead of OG Peppermint’s mascara. Oh and the head shape leans a bit more into square look but not a whole lot. It’s still relatively round in edge.
All in all I tried to keep the design closer to the OG but with some changes.

Somebody reblogged this on tumblr with a message “can we kill this guy” and I drew that as a response #HiFiRush #HiFiRushOC #Art

Digital watercolour art of Hi-Fi Rush Roulette and Chai (my sweet Rock&Roll). Chai is laying his head on Ru’s lap while muttering “Why do they always say that…”. Ru simply answers “Just a unique expression of love for you” while tucking some of Chai’s hair away from his forehead, smiling fondly to herself.

Some concepts of concepts for a future concept sheet + additional info in the alt text section. The first sketch is just a cool-down though - I love drawing Roulette and 808 together #HiFiRush #HiFiRushOC #Art

Sketch of Roulette and 808 together. The former is embracing the robot kitty tenderly, arms wrapped tight, face pressed closer to the feline’s head. 808 seems rather peaceful in the lady’s arms.

Sketch of Hi-Fi Rush Roulette in her two forms. What I’ve had in mind for Roulette is that her base form (the one on the left) would be office-y - simple and perhaps dull. The glasses and especially her hair play into a “prim and proper” look, while cardigans and shawls in my mind make her design a bit more cozy (and also grandma-like). The ID badge is modelled after Chai’s Armstrong pass (which is never used in the game I think so I thought what better way to use other than make an outfit more office-y).

The moment those design elements are shed you get the rough and tough look (the one of the right) - long disheveled hair, arms open and ready for action, and cold yet ferocious glint in her eyes.

I really like the idea of this rough and tough look being called “primal”. I think it kind of fits the bill.
In this particular art though you get a big and cool mecha axe along with Primal Ru cuz what else can make the look more metal and brutal? I love when a beautiful lady can actually kill (me).

These are pose sketches for a what-if photo mode Roulette. Since Ru is not always strict and professional I think some of her poses would be rather silly. Although, since I’ve used photos from fashion magazines when sketching her, some of that “Strike a Pose” aura translated onto her character. So yeah - she would hit those JoJo poses.

I adopted this orange tabby with a wonky front leg that calls itself Chai #HiFiRush #Art

Several drawings of Chai Hi-Fi Rush in a cat form. He is very stray orange tabby to me. Tried to give him lightening bolt whiskers and keep his limp arm. I gave it a ripped sleeve look through a long white stocking pattern on his front leg.

Somebody liked my old Kale in a dress art and it awoke a sleeper agent inside of me to draw another Kale in a dress cuz I felt I could do better, so thanks to that person! #HiFiRush #HFRKale #KaleVandelay #art

This is a drawing of Kale Vandelay wearing a dress. The background is a simple light grey color with a slight gradient of white near the bottom.

Kale is a middle-aged man with wheatish skin, blonde hair with a big bang on the right side, and green eyes. His facial features are adorned with black make-up, and his ears bear large pearl earrings, matched by the pearl necklace. He is wearing a black double-slit dress, glittering slightly, with open shoulders and white lining, with its train part displaying a large golden V that slits it in the middle. His shoes are simple black heels, and his legs are covered with very dark sheer tights. A puffy white shrug is wrapped around his arms.

The gold of his robotic body is showing on the arms, legs, and suprasternal notch, with their neon light shining bright white.

He's holding a glass of wine in his arm while looking at a distant onlooker like the world belongs to him.

Finally...drawing ideas. #hifirush #hfroc

Vanilla appearing in a wall behind a fake wallpaper and saying "Boo!" at Chai and 808. Chai screams in surprise and 808 looks at him with her ears bent back in fear.

A comic of Chai pulling back the wallpaper from a wall after having to deal with Vanilla's little surprise appearances. He says "Alright Vani, I got you this time!" then tears the paper saying "AHA!" underneath.

Continuation of the comic. Chai looks at the empty wall in confusion. He turns around and sees Vanilla poking out from behind a curtain. Vanilla tells him "I was hiding behind the curtain this time." Chai shouts "OH FOR FU-"

He's going to shout for fuck's sake but gets cut off.

Some doodles, weeee~ #hifirush #hfroc

A lot of doodles. Upper left is of Vanilla saying "I think we should do Chai's plan." Chai looks at him with sparkly eyes and Peppermint, through 808, shouts "NO!" The doodle underneath is of Peppermint continuing to confront Vanilla, asking "WHO MADE /YOU/ PART OF THE TEAM?" Vanilla looks at her with a dopey face, drooling, and responds "uhhh, joe mama-"

The doodle under that is of Vanilla and Peppermint glaring at each other.

The doodle on the upper right is of Vanilla looking flabbergasted and then turning away saying "DON'T GIVE IN"

The last doodle on the right corner is of Vanilla covered in cat scratches on his face. He is near tears and holding 808 up. He says "How dare you make her do this to me..." at Peppermint. Peppermint looks to the side with pouty lips saying "Who can if /I/ did?" 808 looks forward, mischievously.
