See this is frustrating because the experience varies so much store-to-store. Some places have the store-employees pick the items & prepare the order, some places make the DoorDasher pick the items, and it's impossible to tell in the app as a customer. This is on the retailer to set and it sucks

Not gonna lie, I really hate this theme. I'm a furry to get away from work, I don't want to cosplay work as a furry.

Sometimes people do things to have fun because the alternative is to do nothing which doesn't always lead to fun. Some people need plans to go out in order to get together instead of getting together: but getting together usually is the ultimate thing that leads to fun.

Inside you there are two wolves. One is active, the other one is on hot standby and becomes active if the first one fails or is taken down for maintenance. Add more wolves as necessary for increased redundancy load balancing. A quorum badger can be added for environments with multiple active wolves.

Stripe Link and Shop Pay aren't doing me a service if I have to get a login code every time I make a purchase. I already have a password manager that can autofill my credit card: if you want to be faster you need to authenticate with Passkeys, otherwise please get out of the way. You add friction.

I've never worked with twitch but standard ACH can take up to 3 business days to process. The standard US financial rails are kinda slow. If it's not there by Wednesday that's definitely a support ticket though.

Great... My account is in a weird state where I cant add any extra emails without contacting their support

I could come up with some kind of: we sent your phone number to the credit card provider who validated it, we want to check that you own the phone number as a second factor for this transaction: but honestly that's really stretching it and idk why they'd do that at all.

I could see this working out IF flight prices go down, subsdidized by baggage fees. Southwest's onboard amentities are more in-line with Spirit than Delta/American/United though, so I'd have to see some significant changes. It's a weirdly midrange product and they're killing what makes it special.

I think too many people have gotten comfy with the idea that the Internet never forgets: it does forget, large amounts of info, alarmingly frequently. Sometimes via bankruptcy and feletionz, sometimes through malice like we're seeing with government sites and datasets right now. Backup everything

chin up, don't bet on sinking ships because they'll turn ur chips to trash. uv got to set ur sights and hopes on setting not to crash! the truth can seem quite bleak if you don't make your plans unfurl, but I would not let that mar my opinion of the world
