Book #3 is Melody Malone Mystery #2 Doctor Who: The Ruby's Curse by Alex Kingston If you know me, you know my love for Alex Kingston & River Song. Doing the audiobook to hear Alex read this hilariously fascinating tale? Sublime! My fave part? Her impersonations... 💜💜💜💜💜

Book #2 is Angels After Man by rafael nicolás. You know what? I took almost a year to read this because I didn't want it to end. I procrastinated. I admit it. But I loved it. There was so much going on & I never knew what was coming right up to the end. Worth it. 💜💜💜💜💜

Book #1 is The Homeric Hymns translated by Hugh G. Evelyn-White. I found this audiobook on Spotify & took the sign to finally dive into Homer, which I've wanted to do for AGES! My only complaint? Some of the pronunciations of the Greek gods' names pissed me off. 💜💜💜💜

Well now, would you look at that! Another challenge in the books for @nycmidnight.bsky.social #TwoStoryChallenge. This was definitely challenging for me, but I gave myself space to figure out what I wanted to do, then wrote it, edited it, & submitted it. Am quite proud of these 2 ficlets!

Pro tip? When going wading for crabs, make sure your water shoes are tightened appropriately & that you wear your socks with them, so your feet don't end up like mine today. The last shot is my feet bandaged up & in a pair of Doggie's socks to keep everything in place. Fckn ouch!
