That episode is why I started watching it! I googled the first abortion on television and that was the answer and I had been meaning to watch the show for years so I took that as a sign.

I've been watching the old show Maude from the 70s and damn if every issue they discuss isn't still an issue today! I can't tell if it was ahead of its time or if time is just a circle and nothing changes.

I've been a client and had female clients and am completely fine with client. That's a gender neutral word to me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love kids! Love seeing my cousins' and friends' kids. But I am so glad I don't have any of my own.

It's funny how everyone I know who doesn't mask is complaining about a cold going around right now, but all my friends who mask are completely fine. Interesting how that works....

Nah people are just vaping at their seats, not getting up for it.

People who spend the entirety of a concert getting up every 5 seconds are so annoying. They can't ALL have IBS, they're just missing half the show to get drunk and disrupting everyone else's good time.

Nothing like getting into a fight with your extremely Catholic cousin about witchcraft right at the start of spooky season lol. 🧙

SO many clients have suggested to me over the years that my all-SW game should be monetized and I hate that!! Some things are just for fun!!

People will really try to do clothing resale like "retails for 7 billion dollars, selling for 6,999,999,995" You gotta actually substantially lower the price if it's used!! Grow up!

Growing up, nobody knew where Albania was when I told them I'm Albanian. Now it's a huge tourism spot that's popular all over social media and people's response went from "where?" to "omg I wanna go there!" Weird to see it happen in my short lifetime.

I had to go to a pharmacy yesterday to get the new covid vax and I am in awe at how many people choose to stand in line for 45 minutes to get a prescription when we have numerous delivery options in this city.

Say what you will about me, but at least I'm not the kind of bisexual who goes around saying "I'm attracted to every woman in the world and 2 men"

Yesterday was the first day of the season that I was out without a jacket and wanted one, so that's a wrap on summer!

Yeahhh history is written by those in power, it's so important to push back on those narratives and hear directly from the source whenever possible. I'm always happy to talk more about it if you ever have any specific questions! Feel free to DM me any time.

Unfortunately I don't know of any good sources because this is such an underresearched and spoken about problem. Literally 100% of what I know comes from being Albanian and talking to other Albanians. Just generally listen to our voices and not whoever happens to have written a wikipedia article.

The Ottomans did a far better job of ruling over us than the Soviets ever did.

The US teaches so little about the Balkans, if anything at all! Even though we were actively involved in the war.

000

Arielle Ivy NYC 🧜‍♀️💕 PHL 10/9-11 @arielleivy.com · 17/09/2026

Wikipedia probably isn't gonna give you much information about what it's actually like, it's a very biased source on something like this.

Arielle Ivy NYC 🧜‍♀️💕 PHL 10/9-11 @arielleivy.com · 17/09/2026

And remember: they will call you a terrorist for fighting for your own freedom. We're seeing it happen in the US now. Keep your eyes open, they test this shit elsewhere before they institute it here at home.

If anyone wants a quick and dirty lesson about the history of Albanians in the Balkans and how mistreated we have always been, feel free to bring it up during a booking. I'm always happy to talk about the liberation of my people.

For those who don't know, The Hague sentenced 4 members of the Kosovo Liberation Army to prison today. These men are heroes who fought for their people during an active genocide, and any crimes they committed were in self defense on behalf of our community. Truly despicable to sentence them.

Arielle Ivy NYC 🧜‍♀️💕 PHL 10/9-11 @arielleivy.com · 17/09/2026

Not sorry to keep politicsposting, but the decision by The Hague today was disgusting and ahistorical. Kosova will be free one day, but today is not that day apparently.
