In the last 2 weeks I have had to have landscapers fix my yard, roofers fix roof and gutters, a HVAC technician fix my broken central A/C, and an exterminator get rid of the colony of sugar ants that decided to march in my front door and attempt to take up residence.

Here is something I think many people in countries in Europe, and elsewhere don’t understand about America. Protests are successful in their ability to disrupt. In France, citizens can march on Paris, shut down the streets and disrupt France enough for politicians to take notice.

Today I deleted Google Maps and downloaded Mapquest. I deleted Google browser and downloaded duck duck go. I have to say that just searching for what I want without a bunch of garbage ads and stupid articles thrown in my face is kind of nice.

There’s a house in my town that flew a Trump flag on a large flagpole in the front lawn for years. The mailbox was also painted with Bald Eagles, American flag, Trump etc. They took the flag down months ago. Today when I drove by, they had repainted the mailbox.
