The writing comes way more naturally to me now. I didn't notice how badly I had gotten myself stuck, but now it's so obvious. I kept drawing panels despite not having gotten far with the outline because I didn't know how to continue the story.

I'm working on a new beginning for the comic. The old one was more suited for an action-focused story, a remnant of my original inspiration (the dragon isekai anime). This one sets the right tone. It's a story of living life and dealing with strange impulses and memories that make no sense.

I think I can show you this without spoiling a lot since it's very much in flux. This is how I plan the comic for the next x pages. It's writing the story and making sketches rolled into one step. I wish Affinity had some more options for guide lines that aren't just horizontal or vertical.

Finishing the logo so quickly gave me time to think about the story. I completely revised the second page to flesh out the protagonist's internal state.

I made two pages to get the hang of it. I could've put a regular drawing at the end there, but this stylized depiction sells the blinding lightness much better. (3/3)

Drawing the left foot gives me so much trouble. I can't make it look quite right and the angle is so unusual I can't find references. The right one is easy because the toes point upwards and only slightly away from the viewer.

A year ago I was working on a wyvern POV drawing, but I never really completed it. Watching the new dragon isekai really makes me want to pick up again and do other projects like it
