On 5 October 2026, Perseverance Rover reached 2000 Mars days (sols) on the surface! On that day an unusual sequence of 5 Navcam photos were taken at 30s intervals at local noon. Checking with Stellarium, the reason was revealed: Venus should be visible at -3mag and maybe even Earth at -2mag!

Finally the mystery about the chosen entry trajectory is solved! It was already known it's not the Apollo 4 / Artemis 1 skipped entry, but which exactly was not published. So they used some lateral movement with the 90° rolls to either reduce the heatshield stress or adjust the splashdown location.

... The proposed physical mechanism of action considered in this theory are the changes in the solar magnetic activity due to the distance variations towards the large planets, which also directly affects the intensity of sun spots and also affects the Earth magnetic field.

As some readers may have noticed, the Heliacal Rise app was switched to manual mode in the screenshot. The iron cage up there was distorting the Earth's magnetic field and preventing accurate use of the iPad's magnetic compass. But down on the ground of the Große Sternallee, the direction is shown.

This new atom model changing its rotation based on its charge is most likely a revolutionary discovery sending an momentum through the scientific lattice! It even includes in this shape the electron, thereby avoiding the complexity of an additional elementary fine structure component.
