Yes, we might have played the top three from last season in our opening five league outings, but this is nowhere near good enough.

🆕 Aberdeen have the fewest away wins of any club to feature in every Scottish Premiership season since 2021/22. They are now one away defeat from equalling a post-war record. A detailed look at just how bad the road form has become... ⤵️ ✍️ tinyurl.com/3wjmtxm3

After the first round of fixtures, no player was fouled more (5) or won more ground duels (9) than Nesta Guinness-Walker. 💪⚔️

I've had the pleasure of receiving many nice comments about the book since its launch last year, however I think this may just be my favourite yet... The seal of approval from the man himself. What a guy!

Barring a set of absolutely freak results, that point last night all but sees us limp over the line to safety with a couple of homes games to spare. Obviously it's still mathematically possible, however this position is a lot preferable to where we were just a few weeks ago.

🔑 Mitchel Frame completed the second-most key passes (3) of any player on the pitch last night. The young full back is showing plenty of promise with his recent performances. Here's a deep dive into why he's a glimmer of hope amidst a chaotic period. 👇 tinyurl.com/3p9rtntz

Another game goes by and the quality of what was served up was pretty contemptible. Had a few 'moments' at the start of the game and the towards the end of the second half but overall, horrendous. You can pretty much gather all you need to know from the momentum graph for that.

Graeme Shinnie tonight: ⚔️ Won the most duels on the night and of any Aberdeen player in a single game all season (15) ⚽️ Completed the most passes in the match (35) 🛑 Had the most tackles in the match (6) A grim watch overall but another battling display from the captain.

This guy. Our Scottish Cup winning captain. Rolled back the years tonight. The years march on and catch up with us all eventually, but you cannot question his commitment to this club. ❤️

Dennis Geiger's Aberdeen debut was a decent one, considering that's his first minutes of football this season. 1st for tackles (3) 2nd for interceptions (3) 4th for defensive contributions (8) 4th for recoveries (8) More positives from Sunday: tinyurl.com/57f2ctf3

With Wednesday looming, we've tried to find something to cling onto from Sunday. There were a few positive signs... intensity, creating chances, and the midde of the park looks more promising. However, We’ll need a lot more at Pittodrie. Monday debrief: tinyurl.com/57f2ctf3
