I should be packing for my trip but I think a couple more nights and my Halloween costume will be finished! (I'm too excited to keep it secret. It's my favorite thing I've ever sewn)

Made another 5 jars of marinara sauce today and almost 2L of Apple Cider vinegar. As a big fuck you to capitalism, I put them in the old Classico sauce jars. The ones that they shrinkflated and made it so the new jars couldn't be reused for canning. 🖕🏻

I don't know why I thought starting pasta sauce at 8pm was a good idea but here we are with 21 future plates of spaghetti and a container full of tomatoes to make another 7 jars tomorrow..... CHRONICALLY ILL ; CHRONICALLY PREPARED ❤️

Nothing makes me happier than making food and sharing it with others. The joy that they receive from being well fed from flavourful natural homemade creations is worth more than gold for me. 🥰

I'm in awe. This book from 1942 encourages a recycle and renewal approach to garments from world war 2, Nothing was wasted! I think during these economically trying times, especially with the environmental impact fast fashion has on our planet, we look to the past to inspire how we move forward.

This is the first time my seasonal depression had my tapped out. The world became a little too much and I had to take a me day. Ate some cake, talked to friends, and breathed deeply. I'll be ok. Don't be afraid to say you need to press pause and rebalance.

This was a 20 minute work out and an hour walk to the store and back. I live on a 35% incline of a hill and I almost got home before my heart peaked at 173 BPM and I had to sit on the curb. New goal - Hills shouldn't kill me.
