My New Doctor Who pitch: Intergalactic Poker Face. You always start with the villain trying to pull off some evil scheme and you just never know when or where The Doctor will enter the story and ruin their day.

I am a big advocate for preserving video games. So it's always awesome to see groups of people doing just that. Even random old mobile games that people would neglect, are getting preserved and that's really cool to me

watched arcane s1. i'd say it's peak but i don't thing it's news to anyone. even with that, i don't care about spoilers because my hype for whatever the context for the next part is is simply too big.

oh yeah them still having bias towards rtd eps is kinda tiring as well! if friendship is universal then show me more twojamie moments i swear these are iconic too!! ok enough of me yapping 🩵

tbh i feel like "space. for all." worked marginally better as a show tagline, it's short, has double meaning, it's snappy, the modus operandi of how the show works is obv from this, i don't personally get this from the rtd2 one

100 0

ardoros @ardoros.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

but that tagline seems rather silly of a choice when we know that of course the doctor has the biggest family in the universe, of course they have friends already scattered throughout time and space, it's like it tries to convey the theme of the show in a striking way but it deflates at the very end

ardoros @ardoros.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

idk this may be just be being silly and don't take that as a dig but the whole "friendship is universal" maxime is kinda... redundant? like yeah there are cases when we have tension between chars, angst drama, "quite right too" etc. +

ardoros @ardoros.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

something definitely irked me for a long time regarding the whole "friendship is universal" campaign thing from dw socials and i couldn't put a finger of it for a while. after all, there's nothing to be annoyed about, it may be corny at times but they just want this to be wholesome i guess

i love how kathryn unapologetically takes up space in a room, whether that means having the loudest laugh and wildest gestures or not shying away from being vulnerable and emotional. seeing kathryn be her authentic self without compromise is honestly inspiring.

the way Loki and Mobius both can ALWAYS see the forest for the trees the way each of them can never see themselves as clearly, because they're too wrapped up in the bigger picture the way that doesn't matter cause they'll both always see the other clear as day #Lokius is so real, you guys 😭😭😭
