Oh my god. [Groans head in hands.] What time is it?

A lot of things can only be achieved through action and not waiting around for it to happen.

Interacting with Lord Thunder Master feels like a game of go.

It is not so uncommon, the mortals trade it with the far western regions.

No, it's alright. This is within their scope and jurisdiction, I have to ask them. [He sighs, then turns to look at the Thunder Master. Smoking, as always. That pipe of his already looks like an extension of his body.] And...is that, opium with tobacco?

There's something I need to ask some of the civil gods of, though I'm unsure where they went. 😮‍💨

[Mirth in his eyes as he watched He Xuan, giving him a matching smirk in return as he so happily leaned back. Welcoming the idea.] Then I have no choice but to satiate my ever so greedy demon.

ᏇᏗᏖᏋᏒ ᏖᎩᏒᏗᏁᏖ @ardentwaters.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

Oh? [Raised a brow in question, although he already knew where this was going.] Do tell what these other ways are, I'm very open.

Hm, then I won't argue with you. If it's what you want to do then you shall do it. [Takes one of He Xuan's hands in his and kisses the back of his hand.] Excited is an understatement. I am more than thrilled and exhilarated at the thought. So much so that I want you so badly right now, +

[Hugging back, Shi Wudu placed a kiss at the top of He Xuan's head, his hand running through the inky black locks that smoothly glides in between his fingers. Looking back, this was not something he would have expected to come into his life and yet it did, all because of He Xuan.]

You don't have to work, you know? Meilin is there for that. [Smiles back ever so fondly! Oh, he's so in love.] Of course, why wouldn't I be?

[Had anyone else seen this scene, they would have marvelled at the sight of the Water Tyrant. He looked like he was going to be a sobbing mess, he looked utterly like none of that dignified elemental master right at this moment.]

[He looked at both their hands and let out a long exhale.] Why are you even asking this is...so good, truly... [His voice had broken slightly as he said that final word. Like he was holding something back. It was obvious from his tone what that was.] Xuan'er, you're so, so good... +

How sweet that the general thinks so fondly of me. [He smiles a little as he continues looking up at him, letting him play with his hair.]

Then I assume you'd like to be punished in your own quarters then, general? To make yourself feel at home despite the oncoming onslaught that is your punishment.

[He checked it himself, and sure enough, what he said was true.] Oh, Xuan'er, I-I... [For the first time in a long while, he did not know what to say. He didn't even believe it himself that he struggled to find the words to say.] You and I...this...we did this...?

That is...an interesting way of putting it, I suppose. One can get bored without any entertainment or amusement, so maybe I do get the sentiment of what you're saying. It does get a bit boring when nothing is happening. It gets dry, and it gets barren.

You speak wonders, general. For that I am convinced. Maybe I really should punish you after all. We wouldn't want anyone to start any false rumors to ruin your great image and mine now do we?

[He had already felt his presence long before, he just hadn't expected him to be sol bold as to barge in. Lifting his eyelids, his eyelashes fluttering slowly as he looked up at the other god from right where he was.] Pei-xiong, I didn't expect you to come unnannounced.

Is it true? Really true, Xuan'er..? You're really with child? [Considering all other factors that he hasn't considered before up until this moment, was something so possible? Was something really so achievable? For him?] Are you really sure...?

[He gazed at him for a long while. It was not that he doubted him, it was because it was unexpected. He stood up, and quietly walked over to He Xuan's side, putting a palm over the other's cheek. He wanted to make sure what he heard was real. He asked him once more, with a voice much quieter.] +

[Shi Wudu was stupefied. He didn't know how to react at all when he heard those last words. After blinking at him a few times, he furrowed his brows, giving the other a serious look. Gauging to see if this is really true.] You're with...child?

[He had ordered most of his people to not disturb him, but he was an exception. Upon hearing his voice, he opened his eyes and lands his gaze at the door.] You can come inside, Xuan'er. You don't have to knock like that. [He sits upright once more.] And yes, I'm well aware. Thank you for that.

[For hours he sat in front of his desk, working for a long time. He finally managed to catch a moment to breathe. He set down his brush gently to the side and leaned back on his chair, both arms resting on the arm rest as he looks at the ceiling for a moment before closing his eyes to rest them.]

Isn't seeing you already good enough for me to be in a good mood? [Shi Wudu scoots a little further to give his brother some space, then summons another wine cup to give to Qingxuan. He then pours him wine.] You, however, look tired and exhausted. I haven't been seeing you recently too.
