I was about say that the 1960s Spider-Man cartoon scared the shit out of me because of the era-appropriate sort of blank mask stare he had but then YouTube's slop captions stopped me in my tracks.

Spider-Man, in his red and blue usual costume, is web-slinging through a canyon of buildings, but the YouTube slop caption says "take a look over his penis and there was a Spiderman."

In late night news, 1Password is trying to ice-skate uphill with me and won't answer my questions. But if I just take their reply and don't get my questions answered, they'll give me 25% off my existing rate. (That is... not enough to compete with Proton, and Proton with family is even better.)

So far you've sent me *two* emails that do not answer the *question,* AJ, one from your automated system and one from yourself. I'm hoping that's an accident. I can read and I've seen the five bullet points that go utterly unexplicated every time I get one of these missives.

1) What, exactly, is the "Al" in "Al-powered item naming?" Which models are you using from which companies? Please note that if it's Anthropic or OpenAl, with the current state of world affairs, I don't think you
*can* provide a discount sufficient for me to feel like your bosses chose wisely.

2) How much spend is going into this "Al" system? Be specific. A 33% price hike is *wild,* and I am a grown person who can name my own items.
Answer those, and I will then tell you what I want to do about your discount (yes, I see your "say yes or lose it" implication there and I don't love it!).

I'm not going to lie to you folks, you've been great-- but 30% increase for a features list that includes Al is not compelling overall, and now I'm curious how much of your spend is being dumped down the tokens hole and not into useful, actual security-enabling features. Let me know the numbers and which services you use! I'd love to hear how that feature actually helps anyone, is cost-effective, and isn't just cruft you've added to jump on a bandwagon.

(Media and entertainment folks like myself don't react well to "we plugged in the stolen content engine! Please give us more money for slop," for what it's worth.)
