There was a severe thunderstorm warning in effect, and the sky was threatening in kind. Yet, conditions were quite calm, as evidenced by the flag in the center. Oh — and that sunlight reflection! 😮 000 0
Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Slowly but assuredly, PC gamers are getting really fed up with Microsoft. I know a guy. Been PC gaming his whole life. First DOS, then windows: 95, 98, 2000, XP, 7, 10, begrudgingly 11. He's a windows sysadmin by profession. And he's been testing Linux steam/proton for some months now. 080 0
Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 11/08/2026#Subnautica I just finished Subnautica. What a journey! Planet 4546B is absolutely gorgeous — hauntingly so. This is an experience unlike anything else I have played, and one that I highly recommend. A solar eclipse passed over just as I was about to board the rocket home. What a send off! 000 0

Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I was looking at some photos and found this one. My partner gave me this dice tray and cup for Christmas back in 2022. The tray is handmade by someone in Ukraine. 🇺🇦 I wish I could tell you who because this is just so amazing, they deserve glowing recognition. I hope that they are alive and well. 000 0

Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Well said. I remember back in my youth that girls would be draped over their boyfriends in the video arcade. Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 24/05/2026I've been told one of the most common challenges to remastering very old games is the original source materials were rarely ever preserved. Particularly of the '80s and '90s. 000 0

Arclayn @arclayn.bsky.social · 26/04/2026Although it's been 20 years, I have worked in private security before. That is the wrong response. The guard could end up arrested for assault if he exceeds "minimum force". The correct response is to document everything and leave the rest to the police. 010 0
