If you needed something positive today, here it is.

A post from Washington State Governor Bob Ferguson, saying, “very proud to announce the Washington state. Department of Health will now process all request to change gender designation on birth certificates within three business days. Previously, there was as much as a 10 month wait. A team of more than a dozen people work through the weekend to clear the departments backlog of more than 500 requests. We’re speeding up government and centering the people.“

I'm feeling uber blessed that have wonderful friends who were willing to step in. Esp Sarah who was willing to literally dish out emergency vet funds, I'm in absolute awe at the people I surround myself with who are so fucking selfless and generous.

me: i hope 2025 will stop my financial stress streak! 2025: hold my fuckING BEER

The money collected will go towards vet bills and me getting you know...food LMAO. Luckily I'm stacked up on my meds for now or that'd be an absolute fucking catastrophe. I don't really have anything else to say. I'm honestly so exhausted and ran around so much yesterday. ko-fi.com/archivistmaven

Because of vet bills, changing my name will have to wait. I’ll be changing the donation goal to the amount the vet recommended in trying to get her some extra dental care she apparently needs. It’s a minimum of 5500 sek, and they want me to save up to 7000-10000 sek just in case
