Archive95 has been updated! Two new data sources have been added: cd.web N°1, featuring nearly 200 high-profile websites from mid-1997, and Nikkei MAC CD Vol.7, featuring the official Akihabara website from June 1996. archive95.net

Archive95 has been updated! There isn't much to show off this time around, as the past month has been spent squashing bugs and future-proofing the codebase. However, there is one new addition to the archive: the Exploratorium website from April 1994! archive95.net/view-exonet/...

Back in the 90's, "internet CDs" provided an offline glimpse into the fledgling web. Now, they are valuable time capsules of what the web once was. Archive95 is an effort to consolidate these CDs, as well as other data troves, into a unified web archive. archive95.net

Archive95 has been updated! archive95.net Browse thousands of newly-added webpages from early to mid-1996. These are sourced from "A Internet em CD-ROM", originally released in Portugual in 1996 as a pack-in with an internet guide book, and which was recently preserved by @404-11.bsky.social.

Hi Bluesky! I'm building an archive of the 90's internet using old/obscure collections of web content you've probably never heard of. It contains over 130,000 archived URLs - more than half of which predate the Wayback Machine's inception in 1996! You can check it out here: archive95.net
