Yeah I have to be a little more choosy and my favorite venues have ample seating (but not assigned).

The senate deal gutting the endangered species act is the same one attacking #Section106 of #NHPA & the National Environmental Policy Act #NEPA. It's all one fight. Call & email your senators & tell them you don't support the permitting changes in the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act.

Today’s unexpected find while doing background research on the PA historic/archaeology GIS is the location of a Nike Missile site in Norristown off Potshop Road (it’s also on Google Earth). It was recorded as an above-ground historic resource but determined Not Eligible.

Seriously, if you are getting older get a colonoscopy. Mine was a routine examination, no issues, that revealed like a dozen polyps including some larger ones. All benign, glad I did the preventative exams! The prep is not fun, but your butt is the only thing that will be sore (from the pooping).

John Lowe @archaeocore.bsky.social · 7h

Yeah it was not fun but important to make sure I’m cancer-free!

I did Cologuard before, then did colonoscopy this year, had lots of polyps (benign) including two that required an advanced procedure a month later. And then those didn’t heal right and had to have a semi-emergency procedure at a hospital! I have to follow up in November which means 4 in one year!!

I usually fast-forward through Jack Perry matches but I will definitely watch Samoa Joe bust him up, and a bonus that he got the win! #aew

When I did a trip to Europe over Christmas break in college in 1990, we went to Florence as much because I wanted to see all the people mentioned in Inferno as I did the art.

Fun little surprise, found this corn maze while conducting a background review on the PA archaeology GIS site. Located at Merrymead Farm in Lansdale. If you look at Google Earth using the time slider you’ll see photos from 2020-2025 (this is 2024).

A photo of a computer screen. The image is from aerial photography and shows a dry corn field with a maze cut into it, making a design. The design is two stylized butterflies and a script text reading Butterfly.

Look, that game was hard to watch and there are many fair questions to be asked about play calling, but after the first couple series the Eagles were playing without their 2 starting OTs, starting TE, WR1, and starting RB. Wicks, Lemon, and Cooper (despite his big catches today) are not exactly elit

John Lowe @archaeocore.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Gotta be honest, I thought taking Stowers in the second might be a good pick, but the fact that we have no OL depth and he can’t even make the 53 shows what a mistake that was.
