Watching Blue Beetle on Netflix and I'm struck by the inconsistent tone Giant beetle robot that just impaled (killing) at least one guy ejects some kind of tear-gas, accompanied with an elongated fart sound effect This is a good example of why the DCEU films are awful

Whenever someone says, well, your work is protected by freedom of speech, they're saying your work is not literally a crime. "Mr. Herzog, what do you think of my project?" "I don't think you should be sent to prison for what you've done."

The Judge from "My Cousin Vinny" in Ace Attorney style. Dialog reads: "Are you on drugs?"

Mr. Tipton from "My Cousin Vinny" in Ace Attorney style. Dialog reads: "I don't know, I'm a fast cook, I guess."

Mona Lisa from "My Cousin Vinny" in Ace Attorney style. Dialog reads: "A little? You've been thrown in jail twice!"

I've actually enjoyed live action Avatar season 2, I think the mother's basement video made some good points but was perhaps a bit harsh. I wonder how they'll handle Sparky Sparky Boom Man in season 3

Thank Goodness You're Here is a fantastic little game Quintessentially British in its jokes, innuendo and surrealism. Like a combination of Monty Python and the Carry On films.

Spiderman 2 (the insomniac one) is a fantastic game It feels really long, though. However, the story flows so well it also feels like there is no other way to have told it Thanks to spider verse and these games, I'm pretty sure I prefer Miles to Peter, too

I'm coming to the conclusion that the winter Olympics are much better than the summer ones, but the glamour is the wrong way around. In the summer Olympics you don't get "they've just come back after breaking their neck but they're going to try anyway"

I've been occasionally returning to Quantum Leap, and was of the opinion that every episode in season 2 was an absolute banger. I've just finished episode 10 and... That's definitely a low point so far

Watching the Naked Gun It's funny, but having characters look at each other to say "what the hell?" kind of goes against what makes the originals so hilarious - the illusion that everyone is taking the absurdity seriously

Pertwee #DoctorWho episodes are a strange tonal balance. The Master seems vicious, but he killed one of his victims with an inflatable chair, so it's also hilarious
