Sona redesign deliberations + venting, mostly involving combining my two sonas, Rau and Stomp, and whether Stomp can retain her identity without the hair. The answer is yes, but the hair spikes are iconic of her, so I'm keeping them. Rau, however, is getting them big Pretzel arms and such.

I really have to start drawing very poorly. It is crippling to feel like I have to produce images that reflect any level of skill when I sit down to draw. It prevents me from drawing things I'm bad at drawing. Maybe some sort of program that automatically deletes your work after 10 minutes...

1. Mole gestures into a small room as a Lex, currently a bull terrier, describes the scene in the style of an onbaording "Here you'll find our patented stalls! Each private stall is equipped with a closet for belongings, a bench, and a mirror.
2. Lex proceeds, "whenever you're ready, just enjoy your tasty potion," Mole is sipping a beverage in a martini glass to demonstrate. Lex continues, "drop the privacy cover, and saddle up to against the padded hole. A partner will be with you shortly."
3. Mole suddenly looks flustered. Lexi keeps going, "After your transformation, the stall will remain locked to the protect your things until you- ..." They are interrupted by an anxious Mole tugging at their shoulder.
4. Mole keeps whispering Lex's name, trying to get their attention. Finally, Lex asks "What's up, Mole? You look stressed..."
"Lex, that was a real potion" Mole urges
"Yeah??" Lex inquires, clearly puzzled about what the problem is.
"I thought it was just gonna be a mocktail" Mole explains
5. "We all decided it would be better to show the full process in the meeting - remember?" says Lex.
"No???" shouts back Mole, visibly losing it
"...Actually, wait," Lex recalls, "I think that was the meeting you missed..."
"Lex!!" cries Mole
6. "Sorry!" Lex replies with a apologetic shrug, "... Look, since it's already in ya, can you shoot the scene for the freebie?
"Lex," Mole hisses "This is serious! My body is on fire!!"
"Okay! I'll add a $50 bonus," Lex haggles
"Deal," replies an easily placated Mole.

A continuation of the Blooper Reel cock transformation comic.:
1. Mole is siddling into place, scooting his rear up to the padded hole and muttering to himself anxiously "h'Okay, Mole... Juuust like a dozen times before... but recorded..."
2. A wide shot shows the recording crew about the demonstration stall. Lexi, now in hyena form and taking the director role, says "Remember, Mole - we're shooting a live demo to onboard newbies, so... Make sure you *describe* your experience." Mole chirps back, "I'll do my best!"
3. Lexi is sitting back in the director chair now, shades on. They respond, "Good enough. Action!"
4. Mole looks over his shoulder at the sudden call for action with a nervous "huh?"
5. A loud "Thump!" booms out from the wall as something crashes through the hole and straight into Mole's rear. Surprised, Mole's eyes bulge out, their star nose fwips open, a shudder runs through their spine, and the force knocks from them a sharp exhale and a cry of "h'HhWOughhhnnn!!!"
6. Mole is buckled over, face buried in massive mole mitts as they mumble a random string of letters (keysmash) and push back against the hole while an eager "thmp! thmp! thmp!" pounds away at the other side of the wall.
7. Lexi, irritated, shouts at Mole "oh for...! Words, porn star!" trying to remind Mole that he needs to talk.

Cock Transformation comic, page 3:
1. Mole is leaning forward, arms pushing against the stall's bench to keep their rump pressed back against a padded hole while an eager thumping is banging out from the wall behind them. they're sweating and blushing and straining to talk about the experience, "I-it's like my whole body is buzzing a-and... 3. The crew is crowded around Lexi, now a deer, to watch the playback on the small screen attached to the camera. The crew all look dumbfounded, blushing, sweating, staring wide-eyed...

Quite a lot to drop without warning, but the people close to me know I've put an appropriate amount of thought into it.

Even now, the habit tries to assert itself: head off miscommunication before it starts. But I realize now that the people who care about me have the patience to resolve miscommunications after they're made. Beats locking myself away and trying to read everyone's minds. What a miserable way to live.

I don't expect to transition rapidly. I don't think I'd look good in a dress. I don't even particularly want to look feminine, and I'm not yet sure that's even possible, but all my life I have looked at masculine women with awe, so I'm not worried. Not in a hurry. she/her will probably feel right after a good long time and changes too slow to really spot. And if it never feels right, that's fine too.

As for the name, Rau, Stomp has been an okay name for a while, but it's never really worked. Been a bit off. But Rau, the character, was deliberately designed for autobio comics in which parts of my history were slightly tweaked and things went just a little more how I wish they would have. At her core, her purpose has always been to represent a more ideal me. The name makes sense for me.

I'm thinking I'll just change my handles on discord and such, until people naturally prefer that name for me. It's much easier than trying to force it immediately. Let the dead name die casually.

Most frustrating thing with any of my art kinks is when the artist does everything perfectly, and then gives the character an expression like they're about to fall asleep. If the point is experiencing something vicariously, and the character is bored, then I'm bored.
