I decided to add Garbodor to my Ultra Sun team because I had a slot I didn't know what to do with and thought it'd be a fun pokemon it was horrendous as a Trubbish so I feared I'd have to replace it, but once it evolved it became super fun just toxic-stalling with it, using stockpile.

Despite this I don't see myself forgetting Dutch anytime soon. I may make more and more minor mistakes but speaking the language is still very natural to me, and on each trip to the Netherlands since moving, it has been quite easy to adjust back to Dutch.

English is the language I can express myself best in and I sometimes call it my native language because of that. I don't use Dutch much anymore living in France, and I only became fluent in French quite late so my level isn't quite up there with the other two.

The way I learned English is very interesting. I know I mostly learned it via the internet, my parents only spoke one language at home and none of the people around me spoke fluent English either, and I had been active on the internet since I was very very young

in my experience, pre-packaged apples (those you buy already packaged at the store rather than having to put in bags in the store yourself) are better quality if they were packaged in plastic bags compared to in cardboard boxes.

I like that Pokémon Ultra Sun, for all its yappings, is the only pokemon game post-black and white 2 that's actually a challenge during the main story I'm only finished with the first island but I just barely won the two trials with competently leveled pokemon with decent type coverage

this reminds me, if in summer I can check shops on campsites. They tend to have Dutch imports. I've also once seen Calvé Pindakaas in a public (not on a campsite) Super U in Ruoms (07), but this was 2017. Very filled with Dutch in the summer haha.

I can't think of any false friends between Dutch and French or English and French, because in those langages if a word sounds similar to French, very big chance it's a direct loan. Maybe this is why I've always found it easier to learn French than German....

I find the difference in culture around shorts between the two places I've lived very fascinating. In the Netherlands, above 20 degrees, everyone wears shorts in Auvergne, it is currently like 30 degrees and I guesstimate a long-trouser wearing rate of about 40%
