I prefer when the two-ton death machines are being watched. Speed cameras provably save thousands of lives every year in a way other surveillance cameras simply do not. If they were the same as flock cameras why would trump's FHWA want to remove them?

Critics of speed cameras may have found an ally in the Trump administration's Department of Transportation.

Last month, the Federal Highway Administration quietly stripped speed cameras from a list of "Proven Safety Countermeasures," as they're known, that have been shown to reduce crashes and save lives, along with bike lanes and other speed-related measures.

The FHWA said the changes to its website are part of a broader review of safety recommendations to ensure they align with the Trump administration's priorities, though safety advocates argue the DOT is undermining strategies already proven to work.

At the same time, we must reckon with the defensive environment the LGBTQI+ community finds itself in. We all know there are differences between men and women. But right-wing attacks on LGBTQI+ issues have sought to drive back the gains made and have become a reliable feature of modern campaigns. The far right is spending hundreds of millions of dollars attacking not just transgender people but increasingly lesbian, gay, and bisexual people. These attacks on already vulnerable communities are dangerous and irresponsible. And the rhetoric and vitriol against transgender people reach beyond LGBTQI+ communities and seep into seemingly unrelated spaces.

I've been proving some things about finite types in lean :D (no mathlib) I'm v happy I was able to find a definition of a finite type that doesnt rely on injectivity or surjectivity of functions :D
