I lived in #Idle #Bradford in Thorpe House opposite my school in the 80s (it looked like this) but I cant find any photos of it online? Our flannel used to freeze to the sink & we had to chip it off in the morning! My father was driving around in a softtop Jaguar with a personalised number plate

I’m trying the upturned plastic drinks bottle (with a hole punched in the cap) as a #windowbox watering solution. There’s some goose grass emerging which I may need to cut back. Always surprised by what pops up! The spearmint is doing well :-)

I have some Wood avens (herb bennet) in my window box (not a euphemism) Geum urbanum According to many folkloric sources this herbaceous gargoyle will ward off Witches Poltergeists & various other Video nasties from the 80s 😂 Also apparently ‘The Moths’ are not fans So pop some in your draws 😉
