Happy birthday Yang Luyue ! ✨ She's living my dream life i'm ngl... #kuriiart #oc

An illustration of my original character Yang Luyue. It looks like a movie poster with the title "Beautiful Day" coming out on October 3rd 2026, starring Yang Luyue, Yang Guniang, Lan Leisheng, Jiang Xieshi and Yuan Jianshuo. It has a small summary that says: "On a beautiful sunny day, a young woman decides to quit everything and start a new life aboard her minivan, searching for the meaning of life and what is yet to discover in hers. While traveling the world, she will find many different companions from diverse ways of life who will help her find her answers, share meaningful time together, and develop long-lasting relationships, making this an unforgettable adventure." There are also fake logos that are just my signature and a fancy happy birthday script.

Yeah I totallly understand what you mean Trails also tackles like a bajilion kinds of stories that could work as a complete standalone piece and then jam pack those into one universe, I've kind of accepted that and just enjoy the ride but I can understand why people wouldn't like it xD

Your post made me go back and actually read the black records, and y'know as records alone, that was actually really cool to read through! I cant believe so much of the overworld premise just went over my head bc I just zone out whenever long operation names start being thrown around 😂

A reread is imminent me thinks 🫪🫪 Also looks like this one is a bit thicker compared to the other volumes, inchresting 🧐

I still think this might be my favorite volume cover to date! The colors are just so beautiful 😭🤌🏽

Yeah with an ongoing project its easier for it to go awry, but when I think about movies for instance, I just wonder how they get away with not adressing so many major plot points and think it was fine to just let it leave production like that But deadlines and capitalism answered the question 🥲

In an ideal world people would get enough funding and time to create the vision they had in mind 🤧

I have been brought back to reality ty U_U I guess it was on me being too optimistic about the creation process 😭

Tru it always comes down to capitalism doesnt it 🗿 and also bad ideas..😂

I understand the crunch part which probably explains majority of it But sometimes they show behind the scenes stuff and you see so many meetings and steps they have to go through and it just makes me still wonder how that happens.. like even big money/name projects arent immune to it
