hurt people hurt people, or whatever it is they say

silhouettes of figures arranged in a spiral, each one holding a knife to the next's back. they are all iterations of the same person. overlaid are various effects and text.

in the top and opposing bottom corner is the following passage, framing and overlapping the spiral:
"hurt people hurt people" is one of those funny turns of phrase where on the surface it sounds true. a little lesson to acknowledge; some people only lash out because they themself are under duress or in lasting pain. but it isn't always the full story, and it isn't really a very good excuse, anyway.

there are people out there who are in more pain than you could ever imagine, and they don't do that to people. or they try not to, anyway.

"turn it inward" is repeated across the entire image.

In your wreckage of reality TV You belong to the industry, baby

a depiction of a dreamlike scene with two characters, a furry supervillain named Captive Audience towers over a furry superhero named Copy Cat, who is comparatively tiny and strapped to a roulette wheel with various sharp objects stuck into it, implied to have been thrown. the background is abstract, implying a crowd of people with cameras flashing.

(2022) If you think this sucks would you keep it to yourself? You must be thinking of something else.

Captain Starburst, dressed in a frilly magician's assistant costume, and Hocus Pocus, a blue rabbit furry with a light blue and gold magician's outfit. While Captain Starburst looks slightly uncomfortable, Hocus Pocus isn't, an arm around his shoulder. A speech bubble above Hocus Pocus reads "make problem-ade!"

toyhou.se/~literature/... ^ new weird writing piece. and yes, i did write it on drugs 👇 here's an excerpt

She didn’t outwardly seem stressed -- more frustrated than anything -- but that was by design. To show these sorts of feelings, to allow Herself to crack under the pressure, would be to acknowledge the fallacies inherent in Her design. It would be to look at every moment She spent depriving Herself, every stifled emotion, and acknowledge that there was never any point.

“Does it even matter what I think of it?” She spoke aloud to the room, again. “We both know that I’m not a person. I am a tool, a vessel through which you conduct your will. What I do, what I say-- It comes from you regardless. Even these words had to be typed by your hand. Does any of this matter at all?”

The words tumbled from Her mouth without Her input, and She grit Her teeth together once they stopped.

“You’re impossible,” She continued, under Her breath. Expressing frustration towards the intangible Author that She was beholden to.

“Don’t be so coy, talking about yourself like that,” She huffed, finally standing and smoothing Her clothes, “Acting like we aren’t in active conversation. That’s what’s so frustrating about this, you know.”

Unfortunately for Godhead, however, a more formally written piece like this necessitated a certain tone.

“Since when have you cared for things like that? You let Deify break those rules all the time. Why is this any different?”

When Deify would write, she wrote with her heart on her sleeve, her deepest emotions laid bare. The very same emotions that Godhead Herself denied having, that She kept locked behind Her veneer of professionalism.

“... At least use second person narration, if you’re going to be responding to me at all.”
