🎲 As of April 2025, Nevada had the highest unemployment rate in the U.S.. The state’s economy depends heavily on tourism and was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. But while tourism recovered in 2023, Nevada’s employment numbers haven’t yet followed suit.

🤔 As of mid-March, net federal job losses were much more notable among men than women. 📈 In fact, some areas of federal government employment saw job growth. From January to March women gained jobs in two categories: the Department of Defense (+3,500) and federal hospitals (+3,400).
