TikTok being "unbanned" is an op 🤣. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the bare minimum has been done, but let's not fucking kid ourselves here.

Got the arms done! I am going to do a muzzle burn effect on the gun barrels, but it's done other than that. I'm very happy with it. #Warhammer #40k #minipainting

Got around to doing some more painting. It's my first time free handing straight lines, and I'm pretty proud of it.

I ran out of filament when this print was almost done. Fortunately, my runout sensor triggered and paused it, and it nicely resumed where it left off. First time is done that without layer shifting really badly. #3dprinting

I was so excited to put these guys together when I got them i didn't think about painting them. I had to carefully rip all the armor off and managed to not break anything. Lesson learned for next time!

Finished the base. That was a good pallet cleanse. Now I think I'll finish painting my custodes army. I got real food of looking at gold all the time.

This month has been pretty rough. It's hard to get away from all the negativity while a lot of people (including myself) are still coming to terms with what's happening in the world. It's important in these times to have and show gratitude. I think I'm going to do that more. Especially on here.

Spent my evening painting for the first time in a while. I tried out the slap chop method for the first time, and I think it turned out pretty good. Is hard to tell it's an FDM print. I will probably get to the base tomorrow. #battletech

"I don't see how anyone can think this empty, artificially-produced pop music is actually good" Motherfucker you have no idea why you like the music you like! You feel something in your gut and then invent some smart-sounding justification later. And our guts differ!

I'm pretty proud of this. I feel way more comfortable painting at my desk now. It also has spots for brushes at the top.

Claiming that the education system failed the kids that were able to vote in this last election is a boomer ass take and is highly reductive. It's also the same reasoning the far right uses as justification for dismantling public education. Stop giving them ammunition. Support public schools.

I need a new project. I think I'm going to scale up and print some of my favorite battletech mechs and make custom bases for them. Anyone have a particular favorite?

000

Something in the discourse in the last few days has been bothering me. It's easy to blame people, but the systems that have been put in place to manipulate and control the masses are working exactly as they are intended to. We need solidarity. That's the only way to fight against what's to come.

000

Damn, this sucks. Things are already hard and are going to get harder, but that's enough despair over things I can't change. I have shit to do.
