I saw a TikTok post by a Trans person looking to flee the US to Canada. One of the comments struck me as so typical of the People I've met here. It simply said: "Canadians are born all over the world. It just takes a little longer for some to find their way home." That's why we love this country.

@ctvyourmorning.bsky.social love the show. We start every morning with you. The story this morning about Estonia and saunas had costumes because its Karnival (Mardi Gras). In much of europe it includes parades and costumes.

So Dear Leader banned Pride and BLM flags from all US govt buildings worldwide. Its easier to gather the masses against minority groups when you make them appear not worthy of the dignity and honor you are. Fascism 101.

So about Dear Leader's ascension to the throne: You know all those things you can't say outloud without getting your mouth washed out with soap?? Yeah...I'm thinking them.

Seriously? Coke has authorized a special inaugural diet coke to honor the The Führer. Great. I cant support anything or anyone that supports him, but how much can you boycott???? I already boycotted the whole damn country.

So the first problem I see here is that people's user names give me no idea who they are! I'm gonna be doing some guessing for a while. 🤣

Marco Rubio said concessions will be needed to end war in Ukraine. (Aka Crimea) Why? Russia invaded a sovereign nation. Get out. If I break into your home do I get to keep a bedroom?

There are some days where the coffee just tastes perfect. It really does set the mood for the day!

If anyone likes reality competition and hasn't discovered The Traitors, both the US and UK versions have started. We like the Canadian and New Zealand seasons as well. Highly recommend!

The Holidays are amazing but church life is so busy that I didn't have a free weekend for 6 weeks. It's awfully nice having nothing to do! (I kind of hate January, so I'm trying to lean into it and enjoy.)

I happened on a NYC Christmas Tree booth. All I needed was the rugged, flannel-clad, grandson of the owner and I would have been in a Hallmark Christmas Movie 😁

Hmmmm. NY has decided that after 8 years, felony convictions can be sealed. I wasn't aware we were concerned about felonies anymore....well the first 34 anyway.
