@fixthel8.bsky.social I've heard a complaint from someone that they don't have as much reading time on their commute after work. Maybe we should have a peak-only 8Z route that doesn't use the bus lane?

Never could have imagined an eastbound 8 reaching 26 MPH going east through SLU during the evening rush hour. And now it’s a reality!

Transit App trip report of an eastbound 8 trip from Pacific Science Center to Capitol Hill during the evening rush hour on the second day with new bus lanes. The trip took 14 minutes and had a top speed of 26MPH near Fairview.
