🇺🇦 Front keeps improving for Ukraine. Strikes (100–300 km) are paralyzing russian logistx, & ru losses hit ~1,000–2,000/day. Attx on arms factories & airfields up to 1,000 km away expose russian air-defense gaps. New fortifications + drone-drop tactics keep momentum. www.linkedin.com/pulse/ukrain...

I don't think "to deter" means what you think it does. Deterrence is defensive. That's not in russian military thought. Anyway, have a pleasant evening.

Aidas Palubinskas @apalubinskas.eurosky.social · 25/10/2026
The article is fundamentally flawed because the underlying premise that russia thinks in terms of deterrence is wrong. Thus the further speculation is baseless. The article is rendered useless by the author not understanding russian thinking from the get-go.

Aidas Palubinskas @apalubinskas.eurosky.social · 25/10/2026
The premise that russia is trying to "deter" Europe is patently silly. russia is the agressor state, while it's Europe that pursues deterrence in order to live in peace next to a dangerous aggressive neighbor with colonial expansionist ambitions.

Prediction: When Trump's republicans lose the midterms, the Vance team starts 25th amendment proceedings. Trump will have served his purpose, and Vance and co. will start working towards 2028, and Trump would be a liability. People will hope that Vance will be better, but he won't.

Trump is like russians, i.e. every accusation (in this case calling lost elections "rigged") is projection and an admission of guilt. So, expect Trump to do everything to rig the elections.

The russian scumbags continue systematic terror vs. Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Let's be open: in air defense, it's a fairly large capability gap. The massive use of jet drones showed that the available air defense was not sufficient to deal with the new threat. www.linkedin.com/pulse/ukrain...

I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind people saying impeaching trump is a good idea. Yes, he's a criminal, but how would replacing him with Vance be better? Vance is even worse. Basically, one needs to have the speaker of the house, and impeach BOTH of them at the same time to make a change.

Simply ridiculous. It reduces the russians to a people with no agency. The countries occupied by russia - northern and central Europe, all went through shock therapy & became rich, democratic members of the EU. russians chose to continue along the path of imperialism, colonialism, rape & murder.

Asia IS involved. China is russia's main supplier of dual use items. North Korea is a belligerent in Ukraine with troops on the ground, as well as providing weapons to russia, as is Iran. Iran's allies (russia, China, North Korea) ARE involved, providing arms and intelligence to Iran.

FIFA's corrupt (again and again) action for the benefit of the USA has backfired spectacularly. It's time world football finally says goodbye to the pro-russian, pro-autocrat, pro-corruption regimes it serves (after itself). We all know that's not going to happen. So, it's time for FIFA to die.
