Finished The Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne. Was a very satisfying ending to the trilogy. Lot of cool character moments, a couple things that were a little rushed, but overall I think it caps off a great series quite nicely. Onto Wind and Truth!

Melbourne folks, get around the Christmas mince pies from Tarts Anon, those things are amazing

Finished What You Are Looking For is in the Library over the weekend. It's not a very complicated book but sometimes you just need a cosy book about an array of folks getting their shit together with the help of a mysterious librarian.

What You Are Looking For is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama and translated by Alison Watts

Heretic was great! This phase of Hugh Grant’s career is genuinely delightful to watch.

I've been using Kagi for a while now and am only now learning about lenses. Can't help but feel I've been missing out.

Scooped up the last copy of the 2024 Exit: The Game Advent Calendar that the local games place had in stock. We're so back.

I've only just discovered you can adjust the horizontal margins on a Kindle and this seems so much better?

Picked Metaphor:ReFantazio back up after being busy with a couple things, the moment your main task becomes "Get to the anus!" was when I knew this was art

I've been reflecting over the last couple weeks about how far I've come this year with my running. At the start of the year, I was feeling like I was way behind where I wanted to be. Now that I'm running more comfortably, it's important I look back on all the work that went into getting there.

A screenshot of some my running stats for 2024 from the Gentler Streak app, showing that I crossed the 500km mark.

New running material. It's got cute little film club vibes having each chapter being kind of standalone.

I finished Somewhere Beyond the Sea. I enjoyed it but it was a lot more heavy-handed than I remember the first book being to the point it got a bit eye-roll-y, so that was a little disappointing. But I get the author’s desire to be the anti-Rowling, so, you know… worth it?

Whiplash effect when you add reviewers to your PR and you're immediately like "oh no wait it's garbage"

Arcane really is a beautiful show. That shot of Caitlyn by the tree is top-tier.

This weekend's read. From memory, the first book was incredibly cosy and heart-warming. It's a good day for more of the same.
