I'm biased but this is a great analysis. If you pick or build internal tools, worth taking a look. The right set of building blocks for the cheap software era is a strong off-the-shelf foundation (database, permissions, docs) plus extension points. www.mdubakov.me/malleable-so...

Malleable software = solid bases + custom code
In 2019 I bet on the no-code revolution. That bet aged so-so. Here is the new one.

Custom apps are officially live! Are we jumping on the bandwagon or is this the most impactful release in years? We forced @antoniokov.com to explain why we decided to make another AI app builder in the era of Claude Code and Lovable. youtu.be/d7-TzkOgcUo?...

Some of the qualities I cherish in people seem to be mutually exclusive. And not in an obvious way: you’d expect the Venn diagram of nerdy and sporty people to look like half of the Audi logo, but why should the same be true for responsible vs. playful? newsletter.antoniokov.com/archive/extr...

I'd argue that (with one exception) there are no meaningful use cases for communicating with the help of LLMs. For efficiency, let's use UIs and APIs. For empathy, stay fully human. newsletter.antoniokov.com/archive/part...

I had a terrible FOMO reading industry Twitter where "coding is solved" and autonomous agents build an enitre browser without human input. So I spent 25+ hours this week building a useful tool for myself to get the intuition of what LLMs are *really* capable of. 1/n

My favourite chart from our year-in-review article — monthly sales & marketing expenses. At some point, we stopped doing "startup marketing": no ads, no SEO, no paid influencers, no stupid ProductHunt launches. −85% marketing budget +85% revenue growth What a coincidence 🙃

In B2B SaaS, "free" plan usually means a camouflaged extended trial. Not in @fibery.bsky.social. A customer who signed up in 2019 has just converted—2067 days of free usage, our new record.

Since I switched from Android to iPhone, my favourite flag trivia quiz was gone... ...so I decided to vibe code my own! It took me just 35 minutes of vibe coding and 7 hours of vibe debugging to get there 🥲 The era of hyper-personalized software is (almost) here.

AI-related prediction #10945. In the next year or so, switching SaaS tools will become drastically easier thanks to MCP: "Replicate my @notion.com setup in @fibery.bsky.social as closely as possible, migrate data, and explain the differences" Leading to higher conversions and higher churn.
