Everything is made to order in Canada and customizable for exterior and interior leather, thread, and hardware colors. I opted for pink everything and gold hardware but there are a ton of options. I’m so happy with mine. Miga can take it or leave it though

It’s real European veg-tanned leather, hand-cut, hand-sewn! Looks and feels amazing—substantial in the hand but not so heavy it’s a hassle. The side closure is a pair of magnetic snaps with a pen loop (mine is a fountain pen but it’s customizable for different pens too—just ask).

I like my Japanese curry a touch sweet but if you don’t then you can use regular soy sauce for umami instead of sweet. I still recommend the cocoa mix either way, or you can stir in a few pieces of plain chocolate bar. If you like a bit more tang try a squirt of ketchup. Curry is just stew.

When you’re satisfied with flavor take 1/2 cup cold water and whisk in 2 tbsp of gluten free all purpose flour (I use King Arthur) to make slurry. Very slowly add slurry to the saucepan, stirring and waiting before adding more. When the consistency is thick but not gelatinous you’re good to go
