I hate being poor, or at least subscription based products. I know longer can DJ anymore until I get a job. I just want to do things that give me joy again

I applied to a job that will be 3 months of meaningless work, but I may not get it because the company doesnt want anyone whose applied to them in the past; I tried to get a job at the same place 10 years ago. The job market is unironically fucked

Just starting playing Into The Radius 2 on my Windows Mixed Reality headset, which is not compatible with my PC or the game. So I had to install a driver so it works with Windows 11, and had to trick SteamVR to think my headset is both a Quest 2 and an Index just to make it work.

My HTC Vive headset is not working and so I had to get a replacement. In the past month I purchased a Quest 2 which had to be returned as the seller didnt mention how truly broken it was, and now I have a WMR which doesnt work with Windows 11. I hate my stupid fucking life

A VR friend died 2 weeks ago, and it was only announced yesterday of his passing. I have some complex emotions around this as its been a long time since I talked, and missing any other chance to even check in has passed too. I guess the moral is to stay in touch with those you love always.

I made a DOOM-inspired FPS game world in VRChat, with an original soundtrack composed by DogFriend. Check it out! m.youtube.com/watch?v=EvD9... vrchat.com/home/world/w...

The play might be to be a husk while I try to make something exceptional happen online so I can get whatever freedom back from the cage I choose to be in. But I will be sad for every second of it, and even then, an outcome I want may not even happen.

Been unemployed for so long that im excited whenever I get an interview. Currently the best job offer I have impacts every single of one of my hobbies and will make doing VR, DJing, and LARPing almost impossible as well as hours that conflict with interacting with all my American or European friends

Not to tell you how to do your job. But I made some slight edits here. Changing the lighting on you and the board so the light pink and white arent clashing as much. Also thumbnail is small so the subject should be bigger; I made you large and tried so hard to reform the mountains of where you were.

There is a possibility I'm looking too into things right now and predicting a future based on minimal information from my perspective, but I have done the analysis on the person she is and cross-referenced this with former and current friends. This doesn't feel too far-fetched of an outcome.

The comment made about the chance of her speaking publicly on events that were quickly made private has been the driving factor in why Ive had to stay in connection with haters of her and her community. If it weren't for this comment made I wouldn't be using realpolitik for when 'something' happens.

I have been told that she wants to make a video about my interactions & investigation and ive made it clear that this isnt a good idea. Looking at the content she wants to make and the content her fans want, speaking on this will not go over well and thats before I jump back in if I feel the need to

A YouTuber who I criticized last year just got doxxed 2 weeks ago. After some digging, I found what group doxxed her, albeit the posts were recently deleted. During this time, a private video where I levy my complaints about them got a view so Im only slightly fearful this sheep will be a scapegoat.

i know modding any paradox game should be more easy than coding with any coding langauge, but im feeling really roadblocked by not being able to understand the most basic of syntax

Watching a bit of them recently is interesting as what they are saying and doing are the same as very small creators. I just think there is a different kind of parasocial relationship that can develop if you were a 300 sub YouTuber with no influence vs a 300,000 sub YouTuber with a lot of influence.

A VRChat YouTuber I used to watch came out as nonbinary this week and has been steaming to 600-1000 people daily. I support who they are becoming, but I know how unstable their life is right now and how emotionally vulnerable they have become. I really hope that things dont turn parasocial for them.
