Ah! Well, it’s very much a Nottingham thing, so when we returned for our honeymoon in 2018, the wonderful part was walking into a fish and chip shop and then having it on the menu… the interaction with the team was hilarious! I was like ‘Thank Goodness!!!. You have Spam fritters!’

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes yesterday, you’re all very kind! I had a lovely day, rounded off with fish, chips, large battered sausage AND spam fritter! Running that off with new birthday running shoes (Asics Gel Excite 11) v wet today (14K/01:17:17)

The perfect way to start today… same childhood memory run as yesterday (12K/01:05:08) but with an extra run round Porter Avenue in Lake to see my grandparent’s old bungalow and give thanks for them… I’ve also kept a promise I made several years ago to be fit by 50 🥰

Ran through my childhood this morning… from Luccombe, through Shanklin Old Village, Shanklin, Lake, Sandown, down to Sandown Pier, along the seafront and back, thinking so much of my grandparents and what wonderful people they were 🥰 (10k/53:22)
