I love this Youtube video! I understand why people want to see you get stuck - how will you debug yourself out? Dont memorize code because it wont showcase your problem solving abilities and how you got to your final conclusion. So much value in this video! Def check it out!

I forgot what a culture shock it is to go from being a cashier to a software engineer. A friend of mine just made a similar pivot and has been asking me all these questions about daily stand ups, agile etc etc. He's even shocked that everyone goes to lunch together at the same time.

I am into TDD, but not when first starting out a project. I tend to build and iterate quickly till I get a stable release, then I retroactively add tests and refactor to clean things up. I'm mostly TDD after that.

Those late season trades were clutch. I must confess that I can't actually watch a Lakers game. Get too invested and lose my mind. Once put a hole in my wall and the Lakers ended up winning that game. It was a round 2 series too IIRC.

For the non-techie folx in the back, lol. In lieu of a QA engineer, I can tell you how building my unit tests are going. I decided to write them after I deployed to production. ☠️ I love TDD, but apply BDD in practice (backward driven development).
