On the same day drug deaths tragically go up by 11%, Glasgow's IJB is facing having to cut preventative drug treatments. If the Scottish Government is serious about acting to tackle our drug deaths, then they should start funding action on it than cutting it.

Health and social care chiefs in Glasgow are aiming to save £20m by April 2027 due to “increasingly challenging” funding pressures.

A first round of cuts includes slashing the number of day care centres from ten to four and removing around 24 posts in a welfare rights service. Plans also include scrapping services for enhanced drug treatment and complex needs, replacing them with a combined offer

I'm glad the Dennistoun Area Partnership agreed to fund making Ark Lane step-free in Wellpark 💚 It's a well-used route for folk going to & from Duke St, and look forward to it being made accessible to those who use wheelchairs, prams, and cycle.

Michelle Main was such a committed & passionate person for Sighthill & it's people. The appreciation of all she did for everyone she met was on show at her memorial service today, as folk had to stand outside the Crematorium today. She'll be sorely missed in Sighthill, & by everyone who knew her 💚
