Just updated! pulls.review now lets you use local agents for analysis when you run it from the CLI!

And it just works™ on Nuxt! 💚 I am so happy to finally see that Nuxt/Vue/Vite DevTools are now fully orthogonal while united! So we no longer need to rebundle Vue/Vite-specific features into Nuxt DevTools, and users can get the full experience of each level's integrations.

Updates in the recent Node Modules Inspector: - Better module type detection (now it recognizes binary packages) - Colorizing the charts by module type, published age, or duplicated versions to find them easily

Alongside the WebContainer query that gives you the full info, the web version of Node Modules Inspector also gets a Registery Qurey more that gives you the result almost **Instantly** node-modules.dev

I would quote this meme. And I think you should always keep an eye on the result, as it can build something like "runs like a car" but nothing like a car.

In node-modules-inspector@2.1.0, we added a new report page "Maintainer Actions", which lists actionable changes for package maintainers to move the ecosystem forward. With pre-constructed prompts to copy if you want agents to do that for you. github.com/antfu/node-m...

I feel bad that I have to enable this for @shiki.style, as I am getting AI-bot-accounts creating the same issues again and again, and sending PRs trying to "fix" the same thing. I don't know if that repo has been somehow labeled as "AI playground" or something, but I can't keep bearing with it.

POV on how you set up Trusted Publisher for npm as a maintainer of a giant monorepo... thanks npm for being... so manual... Thanks @sxzz.dev for the userscript to make things a lot easier! github.com/sxzz/userscr... I also made a small script to open the tabs: github.com/antfu/open-p...

One @unocss.dev trick - use shortcuts to assign meaningful names to your z-index and have a centralized place to manage the orders
Screenshot of the UnoCSS config file where shortcuts like

'z-panel-nav': 'z-60',
'z-panel-content': 'z-65',
'z-panel-goto': 'z-70'

are used.

The fact that Cursor itself is so unstable, you can tell that you can't rely on AI to produce everything.

I often say "It's harder for me to not having the green dots on a day as I enjoy doing what I am doing" - when people ask me about the graph. But you can see I have clearly been trying in the last 6 months. A good balance is essential for being sustainable, as we are playing this in the long run 😆
My GitHub contributions graph. It shows continuous contributions until the last 6 months. I started to have "empty slots," which indicated I had no contributions on those days.

It's so cool to see my name as a tester in a game I enjoyed so much - Die in the Dungeon @dieinthedungeon.bsky.social! 🤩 I helped to improve the Simplified Chinese translation. This really feels like my first OSS contribution! 😆 The game is just out on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/2026820

TIL you can set a successor to your GitHub account in case accidents happen. This is one of the best GitHub features I haven’t discovered for a while. Highly recommended for every open source maintainer to set it up! docs.github.com/en/account-a...

Successor settings
By clicking "Add Successor" below, I acknowledge that I am the owner of the account, and am authorizing GitHub to transfer content within that account to my GitHub Successor, designated below, in the event of my death. I understand that this appointment of a successor does not override legally binding next-of-kin rules or estate laws of any relevant jurisdiction, and does not create a binding will.

Be on the another side of sponsorship with a different media feels very… special Make me wondering if in OSS we could have better/different ways to thanks our sponsors and make them feel being part of it.

Ideally, there is no difference for end users. The goal is to introduce the new Environment API smoothly as there are no user-facing changes at all. And later, we could have the ecosystem slowly start to leverage the possibilities the new API empowers.
A slide that shows the steps for Vite 6 rolling-out plan.

In Vite 6.0 we did a massive internal refactoring, but it will have no user-facing changes for the ecosystem to upgrade smoothly. Later in v6.1 we plan to start prompting the use of the new Environment API after everybody is on Vite 6 already.

@slevithan.bsky.social is killing it! 🔥 Steven went so deep into RegExp and helped to improve Shiki's JavaScript engine a lot (which was already based on his awesome `regex` lib)! I would never see myself able to understand RegExp so deeply. Thank you so much! 🤩
