Join us for the launch of the Digital Library of Japanese American Incarceration Films, a new online collection of 100+ films, spanning 80 years of footage, documenting the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. This virtual program will be moderated by Densho founder Tom Ikeda and feature a panel of speakers: film scholar and educator Frako Loden, filmmaker and former Internet Archives leader Wendy Hanamura, Densho Content Director and historian Brian Niiya, as well as Densho Communications Manager Jennifer Noji. These speakers will address the crucial role of film in preserving, commemorating, and teaching this critical history.

After failing to register more than half of eligible voters many states were put on pre-clearance where they had to prove any new voter legislation was not further suppressing voters rights. In 2013 Shelby County v Holder removed that check. Restrictive laws passed, and Texans lost freedom 🇺🇸

Who has freedom? Not Texans, South Dakota and Mississippi residents, they have the least amount of voter freedoms in the USA🇺🇸

Many states were subject to pre-clearance for failing to register half of eligible voters.
These states were required a DOJ check on new voter laws to ensure that these states were not further suppressing voters.
In 2013 Shelby County v Holder removed the DOJ check and pre-clearance states have since been able to pass voter laws without DOJ checking for suppression.

States where online voter registration is permitted. In Texas online voter registration is not available.

Thanks again for all this research! With future data sets could it be that repeat RCV voters become more familiar and less fatigued with the formate/process and we start to see results more similar to those of single choice? First time doing anything can be difficult.
