Officially petless. Dog I had for 16 years had to be put to sleep last night due to her organs failing. Buried her this morning. It's been a rough winter for me losing these animals.

It still feels odd, waking up and going to bed, missing that lil fuzzy friend who would follow me around and keep me company. Just a massive void in my day to day, expecting him to be near me and he isn't. I know I should just get over it, but it's not that easy.

Had to put my pet down. Tried my best, followed vets instructions, but these last few days his mind and body just didn't want to work anymore. It hurt watching him waste away despite any progress he made towards getting better. I'll miss him.

Feeling terrible. My cat has to be hospitalized because his kidneys decided to go crazy. Been treating him how the vet specified between the monthly visits, insulin, specific diet. What am I doing wrong.

Really important story - army officials asked soldiers to identify themselves if they don't agree with Trump's politics that way he'd get only supportive soldiers in uniform during his political rally on base. Heavier soldiers were also barred from participating.

OMG. According to two members of Congress that just conducted an inspection and confirmed horrible conditions at the ICE detention center where unrest led to 4 people escaping, apparently people were able to escape because an EXTERIOR WALL was made of drywall and wire mesh!
