The biggest thing about old new Orleans vs. New new Orleans is that there are all these people that are lonely but they don't actually know how to connect with people, like connect. I never expected to be a character in my own story it or embody New Orleans so deeply that I became it. Here we are.

Had to get dressed up and do Julia street for old 9th ward shit. We're all old as hell and still fighting amongst ourselves, with the deepest love and understanding. We were truly a real neighborhood once. I guess we still are, but it's watching a dying culture.

So the road at the Florida bridge heading into the city washed out. I submitted a ticket. They had it closed, think it's back open but backed up. Hoping they laid down some gravel because that was a crazy cluster. Claiborne is closed today.
