You should say "No more, thank you." Simple phrases are always the best.

What a brilliant read! Queens and Kings by Lucy Worsley. As Chief Curator, she takes us behind palace walls for a brilliant romp through 1,000 years of British monarchy. No dry dates here, just wonderfully personal, human, and often hilarious insights into the crown.
The front cover of the book Queens and Kings: An Unusually Personal History by Lucy Worsley. The background is a salmon-orange colour with the author's name and title in large black and metallic gold lettering. The top and bottom edges feature illustrations of playing cards showing historic portraits of British monarchs. In the bottom right corner, there is a round dark blue sticker that reads "Signed by the Author".

Yes, even better, but I will no longer add links to my posts. It keeps the feed cleaner, and people can easily find it if they want to.

Worsley shares top-tier anecdotes from her own career and proper fresh takes on famous monarchs (turns out Mary I wasn't quite the monster she's made out to be!). It’s accessible, witty, and a total treat for history lovers. Highly recommended!

What stands out is how she looks at space through an inclusive lens, challenging old colonial ways. It completely shifts your perspective. A beautiful, human read! Check it out here on tinyurl.com/4v76355f%F0%...

Just finished The Edge of Space-Time by American-Barbadian physicist Chanda Prescod-Weinstein and absolutely loved it. She brilliantly mixes quantum physics with pop culture and poetry, making dark matter and black holes genuinely easy to grasp. 👇

Wow, no modern distractions, just the raw power of the Atlantic and those white sails in the distance. It has the beautiful, nostalgic soul of an old master painting. Absolutely love it, it feels completely eternal. 🌊🎨

Enjoying 'These Isles' so far, Brian! 'Northerners' was fantastic too. Cheers! 🥂📚

Framing the beauty of Ann Street from the inside out. 🪟🌿 The hidden gardens below are looking so lush and green. It’s hard to believe the bustling city of Edinburgh is just a short stroll away from this quiet sanctuary.
A view looking out through a white-framed sash window from inside a historic house in Edinburgh. Below, a private rear courtyard garden features a beautiful pattern of circular cobblestones, surrounded by lush green bushes and trees. In the background, rows of classic stone terraced houses with slate roofs and dormer windows stretch out under a bright blue sky filled with soft white clouds.

So much more than just a portrait. Love how the shape of the car blends into the red bench, and how the glass completely merges the street with the room. But the real magic is how the camera catches everyone's attention across every single layer. Like an entire world frozen in a single pane.

“Would-be authoress” must first find a publisher who will take her book, before she needs to concern herself with selecting the binding.
