Lichen update! Filled in the border a little bit. I'm trying not to be too much of a perfectionist about the fill stitches- I think a bit of imperfection suits the organicness of the piece.

Felted lichen fruiting bodies done! Next step is gonna be stitched fruiting bodies- i can get smaller and more delicate cups with embroidery thread.

We moved some furniture around and now Noseferatu and Nemesis have a sunbathing spot 🥺

Apparently it's #PortfolioDay# on Bluesky so here's my most recent finished project: a worm on a string/tardigrade hybrid creature. He's got a wire base for maximum poseability, and a needle felted body.
