I couldn’t agree more. After serving as a juror on a high-profile case two years ago, the experience had a significant impact on my mental health. I sought out counselling through the NHS at the time, but even now, I still feel the effects of having sat on that jury. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

With the first year of my PhD nearly over (time flies!), I had my Early Stage Assessment today! It was great to discuss my research so far and future plans. My assessors asked great questions that I look forward to reflecting on. Overall, far less daunting than I expected and an amazing milestone!
