We're at the 'Overcoming Inequalities in Care Pathways for Liver Disease' conference today! It's been a very insightful morning looking at how we can work together to address inequalities in liver cancer. Attendees brainstormed the biggest barriers to accessing services 👇👇
Word cloud answering the question: In your experience, what are the biggest barriers to patients accessing liver healthcare services?

Some of the largest response included: stigma, access, fear, homelessness, other priorities, support to attend, waiting times, lack of information, trust, travel distance

Fantastic health inequalities in liver disease event in Birmingham, delighted to see Annie Archer discussing the experience in Bristol with Alright My Liver. Thanks to Ryan Buchanan and Kate Glyn-Owen for organising! Important (and difficult) discussions about how to move things forward.
