Looking for folks to influence the direction of our app with Early Access to the new version of our platform! Earlier this year, we rolled out our first version of @peoplework.bsky.social , and the results were encouraging.

If you spun up an AI-generated website and never touched it again, here's your sign to de-slop it. Hehe - seriously, though, I really love the Impeccable tool, and this tutorial walks you through how to use it to clean up those design flaws where AI was trying to be helpful but missed the mark.

If you want your product or service to be the answer whenever somebody asks AI of a question then you need to come up with unique content on your own. When you use AI to come up with your content you’re messaging is diluted and AI doesn’t know why you stand out among your competitors.

Last year, when I tried to get AI to recommend People Work to me in an anonymous session, it didn't know who it was. I spent some time digging into AEO (like SEO but for AI), and I'm still not all the way there, but I've made significant progress.

The disintegrating moat is something that everyone, including Michael and me, has been talking about lately. Why buy software if you can just make your own? But this is actually great news because the moat only serves to perpetuate the enshittification of software.

It always comes back to, "What's the pain you're trying to solve, for whom, and do they care?" So before you open up an agent and say, "Go fix it," remember to get clear on all sides of the problem first. Read the full blog post: lnkd.in/g9pYHH5E

Like social media feeds, we should worry about how AI will pull us away from each other by pulling us toward it instead. "It's incentivizing humans to be isolated, when we're naturally a communal group of people" --@matthewsanabria.com fallthrough.fm/64 #AI

Do I think you should learn how to best leverage AI? Sure. Do I think it's the _most_ important thing? Not really. There's more to learning how to solve problems than that. Am I the only one who's annoyed by this constant stream of overreacting-panic?

I really like SuperWhisper, but I'm having a hard time not stating the punctuation. It's like getting a new keyboard layout and having to get used to it. I've deleted "Question mark" and "Period" so many times!

I never miss the Oscars, but this year I was studying for my ECON exam. Michael texted me from upstairs: "The casting director for There Will Be Blood won. And dedicated it to casting directors who could not get their names on the movie." I texted back, "Not funny." He responded, "I'm serious."
