Not a bad place to work... With fresh coconut, a view on a branch of the Amazon river, preparing for our #PerfectSTORM project workshop and exhibition on droughts & floods in the Amazon region of Peru. I'm not complaining. 😊

On this Int. Day of Women & Girls in Science, a call to action: read the work of female scientists, cite their papers, invite them for conferences, workshops & panels, nominate them for awards, collaborate with them on proposals. Fix the leaky pipeline with collaboration & recognition! #WomenInSTEM

Our #GroundedExtremes project meeting in Madrid was a success! We discussed groundwater & drought issues in our case study locations, refined research plans & methodologies, did a Theory of Change exercise, discussed our Gender Equality & Social Inclusion strategy and visited the Alfamén region. 😍

IVM - VU Amsterdam Water & Climate Risk department day! We explored the interesting Waterloopbos & the beautiful city of Hasselt. We played the carillon, found the local streetart, and had drinks & dinner at a windmill. We had a lot of fun together! #HappyColleagues 😍
