I met Shatner at comic con this past year. I wore a Pulp t-shirt that day and honest to god didn’t do it strategically (just threw it on the morning without thinking) but the way his eyes lit up when I walked into our 3 second photo opp will live in my mind forever.

I’ve read and watched a bit about Chernobyl and never caught that the Soviets seeded the clouds of radioactive material heading towards Russia. They scrambled military jets to shoot silver iodide into the clouds which triggered a rain that poured all over Belarus. It was called Operation Cyclone.

I was a 6 year old obsessed with Monkees reruns in the 80s and my #1 guy was Micky. One day my mom called me to the tv bc they were being interviewed. But it was them present day (aka their actual older selves in the 80s, not reruns). I couldn't wrap my mind around it. I WAS IN SHAMBLES.

I have 13 work events this month, my most ever, and my new hire doesn’t seem to be the right fit (come to Jesus talk is coming later this week) so I’m doing it all pretty much solo. I just stayed up until almost 3 designing and ordering postcards and signage. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Happy 13th birthday to my dream dog! We took him to the A&W drive in for a soft serve and a ride through the country. Saw almost a dozen deer and a bunny dart across the road and he was delighted.

New Oasis dates tomorrow! If rumors are true we’ll be trying for Boston and give something in the UK a shot since we’ve never been there together. Knebworth seems like a nightmare. Iconic but a NIGHTMARE. (Tho it’s rumored to be on our anniversary which would be a good excuse? But also I’m old now.)

Today we went to the delightful monarch migration festival at the Leslie Nature Center. Everyone was able to release their own butterfly which was really sweet. I also released mine alongside the lovely Debbie Dingell who was just there hanging out, no team, and we nerded out about monarchs. 😍
