Looking at Rosdreenagh, Donaghmoyne, Monaghan to see if Tithe Applotment land for John Thornton is the same in Griffiths for my Gg-gf or the lots up the road for his brothers. My problem is that acres, roods & perches weren’t recorded in the TA. Any suggestions? 1/2 #Genealogy #FamilyResearch

I am finding cemetery maps not aligning with cemetery records the norm. Numbered rows are sometimes given random names. Green areas with graves can be considered a row. No consistency. #Genealogy #FamilyResearch

Was a dog with a bone today. And by that I mean I was dogged in my research to find out who the widow of my 2nd cousin married in 1950. I had the index but no name for the groom. Tks to salemdeeds.com, I was surprised to find their marriage cert! Cue the floodgates. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory

Today was a great research day! I made the connection of so many family members from one townland in Monaghan who emigrated to the Lynn/Salem/Marblehead area over a 50 yr span. And they all seemed to work for their uncle by marriage, a successful businessman. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.🌳

Today I made a version of my mom’s lasagna which she had cut from a San Giorgio pasta box back in the early 60s. Not familiar w/ this brand, I researched it. An Italian immigrant from Calabria,Girolamo Guerrisi, arrived in NY in 1907, and moved to Lebanon, PA in 1912 to work for Keystone Fruit.

I need #Genealogy help. A few yrs ago I downloaded a FMP record, labelled it 1821 census & now I can’t find it anywhere. Looks like Valuation Books. Townland is Ballinacorra Ffrench, Killian, County Galway. Is the contract up & I’m out of luck? #IrishGenealogy
