That image oddly reminded me of the old German black-and white sci-fi series “Space Patrol - the Fantastic Adventures of Space Ship Orion.” Aliens there looked like this:
An old black-and-white still image from a German sci-fi TV episode. It shows an odd (in the original vaguely undulating) blobby shape made of light through a window that is shaped like a somewhat elongated hexagram, placed in a metal wall with rivets. A metal piece seems to segment the window, cutting off a triangle-shaped part towards the right. There is a somewhat jagged black line in or over the wall to the right side of the window. Whether that’s an impurity of the still image (if it is an actual photo) or in the original, supposed to reflect perhaps something like laser blaster damage done to said wall, I do not remember. It has been a few decades since I last watched it.

“Yes” to rejection of Christian morality, in their own words:
I’m sorry, it’s too much text, in German. Summary: rejection of Christianity, in a document by AfD Saxony-Anhalt, i.e. their own words.

This political cartoon from Dave Granlund shows Trump dancing over a field, spreading seeds from a bag in his right hand and watering the field from a water can in the other. In the field are little white paper signs on sticks: Sexism, Bigotry, Fear, Vulgarity, Hate, Division, Racism, Violence.

Evergreen:
Two men sitting in a library, large bookshelves all around, curtained window in the background. Older one says to the younger one: “Those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it. Those who *do* study history are doomed to stand by helplessly while everyone else repeats it.”

Obligatory:
Will Smith doing an iconic, often meme’d presenting pose next to the words: “Or Russia could just go home.”

I found this one at some stage and have been thinking about it on and off since:
Ein Mann in einer Karikatur ist gerade dabei sich morgens im Bad die Zähne zu putzen, und guckt ein wenig pikiert, als das Radio verkündet: “Und hier die Nachrichten - alle bekloppt geworden. Das Wetter…”

A cartoon in which two people sit in a living room surrounded by books and book shelves. A homely scene. The older one of the two men comments: “Those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it. Yet those who do study history are doomed to stand by helplessly while everyone else repeats it.”

Title of the graphic: “Evolution of defence spending in select EU countries between 2020 and 2024”

It shows that geography matters and that countries which have capitals that are closer to Moscow broadly spend more on defence and have increased spending more as well.

X-axis: Distance of select European capitals from Moscow
Y-axis: “Defence expenditure [% of GDP]”

Left to right, following two downwards sloping lines (one for 2020 in grey the other for 2024 in turquoise, each country represented by a small, similarly coloured circle for both years):

Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Sweden, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Czechia, Slovenia, Croatia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Greece, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal
