It amuses me how my family are both so proud at how much I read but also deeply disappointed. I spent 1 day reading, still went out to a cafe with them and now im being dragged around on deliveries because I "need to go out more" I literally did a 200km, 4 day bike trip last week 😭

The look of respect when the lady at the Indian street food truck asked me what spice level I can tolerate and I said Sichuan spice was fine for me. This was quickly followed by a smirk as she labelled on the spicy/chilli sauce onto my food. The food was amazing!

Had a few proud teacher moments today. One girl who is chronically ill but not sure what's wrong with her said that she actually understood what the Dr was talking about after our immunology unit because no one had explained to her what phagocytes and antibodies were

The side eye my colleague and I gave each other when we got praised for our extensive knowledge of fish knowing that it comes from the fact that the two of us play a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2, zelda, stardew valley and Animal crossing 🤣

I want to do more with this account to try to be more active on Bluesky but I really have no idea what to post about. DMing and world building? post more of my cosplay photography now I'm doing more of it? Teacher life/tips?

for the first time in 15 years of doing cosplay photography, I have felt massively disrespected, both because of my time and being having my culture slighted. Asian cultures aren't interchangable and there's some delicate politics surrounding it too.

No one told me Andor had lesbians. I had been forcing myself to watch bits of it because everyone told me I should, then I got to the lesbians. Now im fully engrossed. Nearly done with s1. I hope they survive

I swear to god. Talking to 'liberal and open' white people about my worries about upcoming KPop Demon Hunter Saja Boys cosplays, as a half Korean who was raised in Korea is like talking to a brick wall sometimes

My very very normal brother and sister in law have just learned of Critical Role because they had a stall at Sydney Supanova. They have also just discovered how unhinged I can be about DnD and CR despite me working really hard to reign it in
